Because of a home playoff game by the Packers on 1/12, the Gamblers game may have to be moved... Heck, why move it(I assume you are talking about the date, not the site)? Just kidnap 6,000 or so people as they leave Lambeau and hold them hostage in the Resch Center until about 10 that night. Works for me. Or, since the two games are against Cedar Rapids, they could move Saturday's game to either Sunday(in that case, who covers the RoughRiders' expenses for the currently unplanned for off day?) or Thursday.

This just in: www.gamblershockey.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=357&Itemid=2Packers playoff game/pep rally has Gamblers moving game and popular cancer promotion Green Bay (January 2, 2008) – Due to the Packers playoff game on Saturday, January 12 at 3:30 pm, the Green Bay Gamblers are moving their scheduled January 12, 7:05 pm game vs. Cedar Rapids to Sunday, January 13 at 1:05 pm. Also, due to the recently announced Packers pep rally on Friday night, January 11, the Gamblers are moving their popular Caps for Cancer Toss promotion to the game on Friday, February 1. The game on January 11 vs. Cedar Rapids at 7:05 pm will be played as scheduled. Only the promotion is moving. The Gamblers decided to move the Caps for Cancer Toss promotion to the February 1 game where it will not be competing with the pep rally. During last year’s promotion, 2,863 hats were collected from fans who tossed them on the ice after the Gamblers first goal. The hats were donated to Heavenly Hats – a Green Bay area organization that donates the hats to cancer patients. In addition, last year’s promotion raised $4,000 in cash for the American Cancer Society and Heavenly Hats.

that's us - a drinking town with a football problem ... everything else is secondary!
And the R'Riders are staying about 35 miles away Saturday night because no rooms in GB. Sounds like GB is helping with cost.
